Quantel Production

Quantel manufacture all of the finished goods that go to make our products. This ranges from cables and keyboards to 20 layered circuit boards and full assemblies.


We currently produce over 110 different types of printed circuit board, almost 100 different types of cable and nearly 40 different modular assembly parts.

Our stock is sourced from all over the globe, but we have long established relationships with local suppliers, distributors and manufacturers. 90% of the stock value is held in just 10% of the number of part types we stock and we currently have almost 4,000 different item types. The number of individual piece parts held is in excessive of 4 Million.
  • Quantel have operated a lead-free process for more than 2 years.
  • All of our product is 100% inspected within the unit.
  • All Quantel Software CDs are manufactured on site.


Quantel Test

The Test Department is responsible for the testing and repairing of all Quantel products from PCB to large broadcast news systems.

Using traditional test methods to the latest computer fault finding software our Engineers ensure all the cards operate and are set up to Broadcast Specifications.

Working with R&D and Support staff we ensure our customers receive a fully tested and configured system, adapting our test techniques to suit the latest technology coming out of R&D.

Working in Test gives you a good working knowledge of the products enabling career paths into Customer Support, Systems Support, and R&D or even managing overseas subsidiaries.
