Education Accreditation
Quantel’s Accredited Education program is a partnership-based initiative that’s designed to enable educational institutions to offer students training on Quantel’s post production and broadcast systems.

Quantel’s revolutionary new product range has opened up the world of Quantel technology to every company and individual working in graphics, editing and effects across post production, news, sports, promotions and other close-to-air broadcast operations. Every product in the range is based upon the same next-generation, timeline-based user interface and common, progressive toolset, so skills learnt on one system are easily transferred to another.

As a result, these new generation systems have been spectacularly successful in the marketplace - creating an ever-increasing demand for trained artists and editors. This means that Quantel systems provide an excellent learning base for those training to enter the creative end of the post production and broadcast businesses. Recognising this, Quantel has been running a comprehensive Accredited Education Program for a number of years.

The program covers both the supply and support of Quantel systems and the training of the educational establishment’s trainers. The objective is to help the educational establishment to provide an optimal learning environment where graduates can enter the industry ‘ready to go’. The program has been designed in consultation with our existing education partners and is under constant review for potential improvements.

Quantel Accredited Training Centres

Korean Broadcasting Institute
KBI is carrying out many activities to develop broadcasting industry, one of them is educational program for digital broadcasting. They run a training center for digital non-linear systems, and main students are editors, designers and engineers who are working in broadcasting field now. KBI have 2 complete Quantel eQ suites 2 additional loan eQs and are looking to expand their training centre to accommodate more Quantel equipment. These training suites are being used to run Quantel accredited training courses.

Bournemouth Media School @ Bournemouth University
Bournemouth Media School in Bournemouth, England has an excellent reputation in the world of education, and its graduates enjoy considerable employment success, thanks in part to the school's strong links with the media industry. Graduate placements with such leading companies as BBC, CNN, Meridian TV, Channel 4 TV and Industrial Light Magic are testimony to its success.

The German Film School
Its goal is to train operators, media designers, journalists and technicians in all areas of broadcast production. The students come from both public and private broadcasters and also production facilities.

International Creative Alliance
ICA is a Connecticut based talent agency which also provides specialised, accredited training in broadcast design and picture editing at customer sites and dedicated training sites throughout the USA.

Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication
Ravensbourne College, located just south of London, offers a one year Certificate in Higher Education and a two year Foundation Degree in Broadcast Post Production. On completion of the Foundation Degree, students are be eligible to apply to progress to Honours level study. Developing key editing skills, the students also acquire skills in screen graphics, special effects, compositing, audio-post, authoring and quality control. All areas are backed up by a comprehensive grounding in post-production technology and theory. An important facet of the course is in mirroring the work place environment using professional equipment.

University of Southern California
Located in the heart of Los Angeles, UUSC has been an accredited Quantel Educator since 2000. USC is home to the prestigious Zemekis Center for Digital Arts.
